The SEDA Innovation Challenge is a competition held to unearth brilliant ideas and innovations in the field of today’s technology that are used to catalyze energy transition efforts in Malaysia. To make this programme a success, SEDA Malaysia will collaborate with strategic partners lead by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Kuala Lumpur Subsection, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), UCSI University and Leave a Nest.

Strategic partners act as advisors and implementers as well as assessors from the technical aspect. This is because they have knowledge and expertise in subject matter and have experience in conducting competitions like this. This competition has started on May 8, 2024 and will end on October 1, 2024. This competition is open to all Malaysians and expats in Malaysia.
