Continuation of the implementation of 2011 Government Lead By Example (GLBE) Program and Sustainable Achieve via Energy Efficiency (SAVE) Program under Entry Point Project 9 (EPP9) – Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) for the Oil , Gas and Energy, SEDA Malaysia has identified four (4) training programs to support the implementation of these initiatives. This training program has been identified by the Strategic Reform Initiative (SRI), an initiative introduced by Performance Management Delivery Unit, PEMANDU to support the implementation of programs and improve the capacity and knowledge and to address the human capital needs in specific areas under EPP9.
Since 2013, Technical Development and Facilitation (TDF) Unit has organized and experienced in conducting numbers of energy efficiency and energy management awareness and training programs with Local Authority and Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). For the training programs, TDF Unit has developed four training modules on energy efficiency and energy management. Since year 2013, TDF has conducted awareness training using these training modules. The training modules are as below:Energy Management in Building;
1.Energy Management in Building (Eligible for ST’s CDP for Energy Manager – 12 points);
2.Principles and Applications of Malaysia Standard MS1525: Code of Practice on Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy for Non-Residential Buildings (Eligible for ST’s CDP for Energy Manager – 8 points);
3.Energy Efficiency Management for Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) System (Eligible for ST’s CDP for Energy Manager – 8 points and MBOT’s CPD – 12 points);
