The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

SENIOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR (STRATEGY & DATA REPOSITORY) STRATEGIC PLANNING DISIVION
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a degree holder in Actuarial Science/ Statistics/ Business & Management/ Economic or other related fields;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical and statistical roles;
- The candidate must possess technical skills in data manipulation and querying, such as advanced Excel, macros (VBA), or data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI;
- Experience in the sustainable energy industry or related fields is an added advantage;
- Knowledge in Malaysia’s Energy Policies, Renewable Energy Act and the Malaysia Electricity Supply Industry would be highly advantageous;
- Have knowledge and experience in computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and experience in handling / monitoring data system;
- Excellent interpersonal attribute including sensitivity, sound and strong organisational and leadership capability, able to work effectively and efficiently in a multicultural environment;
- Well versed in spoken and written Malay and English.
