The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

SENIOR LEGAL OFFICER/ LEGAL OFFICER, LEGAL UNIT
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Possess a Bachelor of Laws – LL.B (Hons);
- At least 2 years of working experience in a similar environment, preferably in-house experience;
- Well verse in contract law, company law, corporate law, land law and preferably familiar with the energy law in Malaysia;
- Knowledge on energy policy, electricity supply industry and sustainable energy policy in Malaysia would be highly advantageous;
- Familiar with the government regulatory frameworks;
- Able to draft and review legal documents;
- Able to provide legal opinion and advise on all areas of law;
- Able to identify legal issues and provide solutions from legal perspective;
- Knowledge in drafting and reviewing any principal, subsidiary and amending legislations; and
- Able to conduct research or studies on legal matters.
