“SEDA is confident that Sanjayan will be able to spearhead energy efficiency and renewable energy (RE) agenda in the country, and achieve the aspirational RE target of 20% in the national power mix by 2025,” SEDA said in a statement.
“His vast background and extensive knowledge of the energy industry are valuable attributes which are of great relevance to Seda,” it added.
SEDA is a statutory body under the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change in charge of driving the RE and energy efficiency agenda in the country.
