Guidelines for Eligibility of the S02 Bonus – “Use as Building Material” for Solar PV Applications under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Mechanism

SEDA Malaysia is pleased to announce that the Guidelines for Eligibility of the S02 Bonus– “Use as Building Material” for Solar PV Applications under the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Mechanism is now available on SEDA Malaysia’s web portal. The guidelines can be downloaded by clicking HERE.

This guidelines will serve as a reference point to FiAHs who have applied for the S02 Bonus, where it properly defines the criteria for functionality of the buildings (activity below the PV Structure) in order for them to be eligible to obtain the S02 bonus. Other than that, the guidelines also states the responsibilities of the FiAH in meeting the eligibility throughout the 21-year REPPA period and cites examples for easy reference.

It is hoped that with the availability of this revised guidelines, FiAHs will have a clearer picture on how to fulfil the requirements and expectations of the Authority. Should there be any further questions or clarifications, FiAHs may contact Mr. Frederick Wong at 088 – 252 101 or email Frederick@seda.gov.my.

Thank you.
