Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia is a statutory body formed under the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Act 2011. The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

Candidates should be passionate about growing the energy management agenda in the country, have relevant technical knowledge, strong communication and analytical skills. Program Manager for Component 2 – Awareness and institutional capacity development, Green Technology Applications for Low Carbon Cities (GTALCC) Project, Energy Demand Management Unit

  • Graduate in Engineering, Town Planning, Science or Economics (preference will be given to candidates with relevant Postgraduate degrees);
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in Policy Studies and capacity building on Low Carbon Cities particularly awareness and institutional capacity building;
  • Strong command over English and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • Experience in project management and the energy and green technology sector are preferred;
  • Independent, pro-active and result oriented;
  • Able to work sometime beyond office hours; and
  • Possess driving license and own transport.
